Doubly-resonant metal-free aluminum nitride electro-optic modulator

Abstract: Here we use the near field of a dielectric resonant antenna to modulate an on-chip aluminum nitride ring resonator. Using this device we demonstrate entirely metal-free electro-optic modulation at 15.1 GHz.
