Abstract: We describe a nonlinear microwave circuit that uses timedelayed feedback to a voltage-controlled microwave oscillator. We present experimental measurements of the bifurcation diagram, showing dynamical behaviors ranging from periodic to chaotic, depending on the feedback strength. When two such systems were bidirectionally coupled, we observed envelope and phase synchronization between them. The phase synchronization was investigated by applying the Hilbert transform to the measured microwave signals generated by the two synchronized systems.
